Bazar Atomico
CHEMICAL SYMBOL B
A podcast with 20 million views needed a functional visual identity to match. The new visual identity presents itself more authoritative, but just as disruptive.
Within Italy’s vibrant podcast landscape, one production proudly refuses to follow the rules. Il Bazar Atomico signals its serendipitous approach right from its name: no fixed agenda, guests with unconventional backgrounds, an eclectic mix of topics — from spirituality to business, international politics to psychedelia. After all, it is a bazaar. And an atomic one at that. Host Davide Francesco Sada, an entrepreneur in the financial education sector (Moneysurfers), wants to explore the boundaries between personal growth and creative chaos. This is where his weekly interviews begin: since 2020, they have featured a long list of nationally recognized guests from politics, culture, entrepreneurship, and entertainment, including Roberto Saviano, Cecilia Sala, Stefano Feltri, Carlo Cottarelli, Marisa Laurito, Matteo Bordone…
Independent from major online media groups, the podcast had never really developed a visual identity of its own. Until August 2025, it drew from a retro-inspired aesthetic combining illustration, whispers of science, and a touch of mysticism. Bellissimo’s challenge was to bring greater clarity and impact to the brand while preserving some of its original spontaneity. The solution emerged from the podcast’s atomic —and therefore chemical— dimension. The custom lettering takes inspiration from the periodic table of elements, with each letter occupying a modular cell that can be recomposed and animated across applications. The resulting visual identity is built around the strength of typography and designed to work across the many touchpoints of the web and social media. Framed within a diamond shape, the letter B finally gives the podcast a distinctive symbol of its own — immediately recognizable and easy to identify.
The launch of the new identity marked the beginning of a broader graphic effort to coordinate the brand across platforms, extending to every audience touchpoint: Reel bumpers, the app icon, merchandise... Just a few months after its introduction, Il Bazar Atomico presents a visual presence that is more organized and coherent — without becoming any less explosive.
