Royal Green Walk
WITH ROYAL ELEGANCE
A visual identity that interacts with the greenery and the architecture of the historic center, for a Turin that never ceases to amaze. Selected by BIG Community 2024.
The Royal Green Walk is a new route through the heart of downtown Turin. Launched by Stratosferica in collaboration with a group of former City of Turin executives, it allows visitors to move through lesser-known or otherwise inaccessible spaces, on an ideal journey through history, art, and nature. These are the very elements that also shape the coordinated visual identity.
Visual communication is curated by Bellissimo. The logo draws inspiration from the symbols, details, and architectural profiles found along the route. These elements form a versatile system of shapes and illustrations that —applied to the surfaces of the elegant pop-up totems— guide visitors from the Palatine Gates to the Mole Antonelliana.
The project caught the attention of the AIAP jury, the Italian Association for Visual Communication Design, which selected the Royal Green Walk from among the projects presented at BIG Community 2024.
Offered on multiple occasions, the walk is a one-of-a-kind experience. It retraces two thousand years of urban history, from Roman ruins to the Savoy buildings, while offering a unique perspective on the future of the area: the transformation of the Cavallerizza Reale, the second metro line, and ongoing development projects. The initiative is also supported by the collaboration of Musei Reali Torino, with backing from Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo.
