MaaS for Italy: activities and results at a glance. The white paper designed by Bellissimo for the Italian Government
MaaS for Italy is Italy’s first large-scale pilot of the Mobility as a Service model. Funded with €56.9 million, the program involved six major cities and seven territories, encouraging local citizens to adopt integrated digital mobility solutions.
As the program approaches completion, the Department for Digital Transformation of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, in collaboration with the Ministry of Infrastructures and Transport., commissioned a public white paper to clearly present the experience — its benefits and activities, results and impact, and future outlook.
Bellissimo curated the editorial and graphic design project for the publication, with a strong focus on texts, infographics, and visual schemes. The goal was to distill into a concise document the key elements of a complex project grounded in digital innovation and cross-sector collaboration. The publication is supported by CinqueT, a company involved in the MaaS pilot projects ToMove and MaaS Piemonte (both part of MaaS for Italy), for which Bellissimo also managed communications.
The white paper is available from mid-June 2026 on the Department’s website. It can also be accessed in its web version at: maas.innovazione.gov.it
