talks about the future of visual design

LeftLoft (Milan) and G Design Studio (Athens) are our guests on May 16 for Graphic Days® In the City, with music by Giulia Cavaliere

Last year, for — MENO / DIVISO, the exhibition celebrating Bellissimo’s 25 years of activity, we invited designers from Italy and across Europe to discuss what it really means to work in this field, and the role of the visual designer in today’s complex world. We spoke with Studio Dumbar, La Tigre, Happycentro, Michael Horsham from Tomato, Typotheque, and BCPT. Rings any bells?

On Friday, May 16, we return to Dorado (Lungo Dora Firenze 37) with new guests and a music twist. At 7 pm, we’ll talk with Francesco Cavalli, a leading figure in contemporary Italian graphic design and co-founder of the Milanese studio LeftLoft. LeftLoft recently won the public tender to create Turin’s city branding — so we couldn’t resist asking about the vision they’ve imagined for the city’s future brand.

Next, we’ll welcome Dimitri Stefanidis, founder and partner of G Design Studio, an outstanding Athens-based studio working across brand identity, digital experiences, packaging design, and cultural projects, earning international awards every year. This promises to be an unmissable talk with a designer of remarkable talent and humanity.

These talks are part of the Graphic Days® In the City program, highlighting the passion for design and the commitment to staying true to the values that inspire our professional philosophy — aligned with the theme of the 2025 festival edition: Love, now!

Following up, enjoy an aperitif accompanied by a music selection curated by journalist and music critic Giulia Cavaliere, author for the OILÀ series by Electa and previously for minimum fax.

If we’ve convinced you, here’s the link to register. We look forward to seeing you at Dorado!
